Note To Self: Be Brave Enough to Love Myself

A gentle and supported path to learning the importance of self-love through music

An Angel Band Project Workshop

Thursdays 5:00 - 6:30 PM

September 5 - October 24

Led by Tracie Sandheinrich, MA, LPC, MT-BC

This Angel Band Project Workshop is a FREE music therapy group for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. No musical experience necessary.

Our music therapy small group workshop will meet weekly for 8 weeks, and will focus on the recognition and importance of self-love. Together, we’ll focus on creating a sense of community through music and talk therapy.

Each group is guided by our board-certified music therapist, Tracie Sandheinrich, MA, LPC, MT-BC.

Therapeutic Model

The Angel Band Project’s Music Therapists utilize the Trauma-Informed Care approach, and follow a unifying therapeutic model:

Self-Love

This journey will be guided by a board-certified music therapist, utilizing a trauma-informed approach to the exploration of 7 segments of self-love:

self-awareness, self-exploration, self-care, self-esteem, self-kindness, self-respect, and self-growth.

Music Therapy

Music Therapy is an allied health profession where clinical and evidenced-based use of music interventions are applied to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship. Music Therapy encourages emotional expression, promotes social interaction, relieves symptoms, increases communication, and reduce pain perception and anxiety.
