Bodywork and Massage Therapy
What is Bodywork?
Bodywork ranges from a wide variety of body-based therapeutic modalities like: massage, movement, and somatic experiencing.
When offered in a supportive environment, this work can be deeply healing and provides a different way to process our experiences and/or traumas.
While this does not replace psychotherapy or counseling, bodywork can be very impactful for those who feel supported by body based and/or touch therapies.
At Empowered Spaces, we believe in each person’s ability to find self, relational, and communal healing through many avenues, to include bodywork. We also take great responsibility in providing trauma-informed offerings that aim to support you in your healing journey, wherever you may be.
Bodywork at ES can be a wonderful compliment to psychotherapy by supporting our need for connection and regulation.
