Quieting the Storm
Quieting the Storm is a 12-week therapeutic empowerment group for teen girls in high school (an inclusive space for all teen girls). Since 2009, these sacred spaces have offered support and comfort that invites each individual to explore and reconnect with her most authentic selves as she learns valuable tools to help navigate her world. Individuals find connection with one another while working on building self-compassion, confidence, self-awareness, healthy coping strategies, and skills to develop healthy relationships.

Uplifting Chair Yoga
No mat required! This gentle chair-supported yoga class is designed to help relieve stress, build strength, and improve flexibility, all while staying seated or using the chair for balance. We begin each session with a soothing warm-up, bringing your awareness to the present moment through mindful breathing and light movements to gently warm the body. In this class, everyone is encouraged to come as they are. Every movement is an invitation, not an expectation—take what feels good, and leave the rest. Guided by your breath, you’ll flow through gentle stretches and energizing movements that promote both strength and relaxation, creating a mindful, calming, and invigorating experience. Accompanied by soft music, each session weaves in elements of yogic philosophy to nurture both the body and the mind.

Yoga and the Pelvic Floor
Invigorate your yoga practice by tapping into the power of your pelvic floor. Sitting at the level of the root chakra (muladhara), the pelvic floor is a group of muscles and other tissues that is intimately connected to how we breathe and move. Discover the anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor, the role it plays in your yoga practice, and the breath-pelvic floor connection. This workshop is open to anyone with a pelvis and to all levels of yoga practice.

This trauma-informed restorative yoga offering is a wonderful compliment to the practice of gently expanding. ‘Heart wide open’ is a 90-minute practice of supported rest in which ones’ body is fully supported by bolsters, blankets, and blocks.
