Calli Wiatt, LPC, RYT (she/her)

Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher

Calli Wiatt is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher, who works with diverse (LGBTQIA+, multicultural, non-monogamous, etc.) millennials or individuals aged 26-45, with a focus on attachment-related trauma and holistic somatic-informed healing. Many of her clients are achievers and innovators who are highly motivated, free-thinking, action-oriented, and creative problem solvers that have found great success in their careers or academically, but struggle to feel connected in their relationships or at peace in their daily lives. Calli is particularly sensitive to clients who feel different, unique, or marginalized from mainstream society. She understands the challenges of those who struggle to find connection and safe spaces for authenticity in a world that demands conformity.

Calli’s approach is rooted in an understanding of attachment trauma and neuroscience informed research. She uses interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, polyvagal nervous system regulation, and parts work, that focus on helping clients understand and experience how their mind and body are interconnected, so that they can begin to facilitate profound change. She works to help clients make sense of their past experiences, uncover their truest selves, and develop safe and meaningful relationships with others.

Calli is focused on ensuring that her clients feel empowered and autonomous in their healing: her style is experiential, non-judgmental, collaborative and positions clients as self-experts. She believes in the healing power of nature and creative self-expression and offers unique nature-based and expressive arts activities.

As an intersubjectivity therapist, Calli is sensitive to the intimacy of the therapeutic relationship and works closely with clients to use this relationship as an instrument for healing and transformation. Calli’s first priority is ensuring clients feel safe, seen, and like an equal partner in the therapeutic process. She offers online, in-office, and nature-based therapy sessions for clients located in Missouri and various classes and groups focused on somatic healing and holistic wellbeing.
