Class Description

“Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.” – Oprah Winfrey

This gentle and rejuvenating yoga class is designed to help you unwind, de-stress, and restore balance in both your body and mind.

Through a series of supported poses, deep breathing, and mindful relaxation, you'll experience a calming practice that encourages deep rest and healing.

In this trauma-informed yoga class, you will be invited to listen to your body and move in a way that feels most supportive to you moment to moment. Variations will always be offered so that you can reconnect with your body and explore what feels right for you.

Perfect for all levels, this class focuses on soothing the nervous system, enhancing flexibility, and resetting your energy.

Whether you're recovering from a busy day or simply seeking a peaceful escape, "Restorative Yoga: Rest & Reset" offers the perfect opportunity to relax, recharge, and reconnect with yourself.

Equity Pricing

Empowered Spaces and Majestic Rhose Yoga & Wellness (Krystle “Kryssi” Crayton-Day) value community care. Given the systemic injustice in this world which affects each of us differently, this equity pricing scale acknowledges that our ability to pay for services, and access those services, varies. We offer a self-determined sliding scale based on the ways that your identity grants you access to privilege and to social capital, e.g. race, gender & sexual identity, socio-economic status, educational background, able-bodied-ness, etc.

Supporter Rate - "I can help support my community" - $75

Sustainer Rate - "I can pay my way" - $50

Community Rate - "I can use support from my community" - $25

*Drop-in Rate is $5 - $15 per class

*Full and Partial Scholarships are available

(Please note that you may also pay between these rates.)

*Full & Partial scholarships: Empowered Spaces is committed to doing everything possible to make offerings accessible to everyone. To inquire about the Empowered Spaces Equity Scholarship please contact Kelly at kkcaul@yahoo.com.

Meet Kryssi

I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and earned my yoga teacher certification through Breathe For Change in March of 2023. Also through Breathe For Change, I earned a Social Emotional Learning Facilitator certification. I focus on yoga that is trauma-informed, equitable, accessible, community-based, and healing. In my classes, I emphasize and implement the belief that yoga is for everybody in every body. Every asana is optional and I encourage you to listen to what your body needs in each moment. I am here to offer a brave space for your practice and to guide you during your journey on your mat.
