Self-Compassion: A Four-Week Trauma-Informed Yoga Series
In this series, which will combine guided meditations, yoga asana practice, and opportunities for reflection, we will explore and practice ways of engaging in self-compassion. We will look at work done by meditation teachers as well as modern psychologists who study the topic. It is not indulgent to carve out some time to tend to our relationship with ourselves, especially during times when we are affected by collective suffering. Our ability to direct compassion inward enhances our ability to direct it outward in a sustainable way.
Nervous System Reset: an evening of soothing live music and lightly guided movement
We are back to offer another evening of calming, ambient, live music and gently flowing movement aimed at helping you relax your body and ease your mind.
This event, which will take place on the night of the winter solstice will have a theme of preparing for the transition into the winter months. Each and every “reset” event will be a unique experience, because the music is improvisational and the guided movement will be different each time.

Yoga In The Garden
In The Garden are a series of workshops in the Empowered Spaces Community Garden that explore integrative justice driven approaches to embodiment, mental health, and wellness, both individually and collectively. Join us for Yoga In The Garden on August 26, 9:00-11:00am with Deidra O'Loughlin (she/her). From 9:00 - 9:30 am join us for a kid-friendly, community yoga class in the Empowered Spaces Community Garden, and then we will have time to harvest in the garden.
