Rest & Relax Your Nervous System:

A Restorative Yoga & Somatic Meditation Workshop

Friday, September 1

6:30 – 8:30 pm

Led by Lindsay Dickes (she/her)

By late-summer moving into early-autumn, it’s a perfect time to refill your cup. Soothe, settle and nourish your nervous system that’s been in go-go-go or running-on-empty mode during the busy summer months with Rest & Relax Your Nervous System.

Join Lindsay for this Restorative Yoga & Somatic Meditation workshop as she weaves the wisdom of the nervous system through somatic practices with restorative yoga and a somatic transformational meditation. Learn how to cultivate rest and relaxation in your unique nervous system and receive a deeply nourishing experience for restoration and rejuvenation in your body.

The first part of the workshop will explore soothing somatic practices to support your nervous system into states of nourishment and connection. Expect to breathe, move and stretch your body through gentle yoga poses and breathwork. The second part of the workshop will focus on longer held restorative yoga poses for deep relaxation and rejuvenation with the use of supportive blankets and props. Then be guided into a state of deep relaxation with a powerful somatic meditation for an integrated experience of rest and nourishment in mind, body and soul.

Leave feeling rested, relaxed and recharged in your body and with your nervous system – and with somatic practices to continue supporting your nervous system through late-summer and into early autumn.
