Winter Yoga with Kryssi

Saturdays and Sundays in January

3:00 - 4:00 PM

Led by Krystle “Kryssi” Crayton-Day (she/her/hers)

Founder of : Majestic Rhose Yoga & Wellness

Class Description

“Sun salutations can energize and warm you, even on the darkest, coldest winter day.” - Carol Krucoff

Flow into the New Year on your mat. Yoga is the union of mind, body, and spirit. In each class, you will be invited to settle in on your mat and connect with yourself. You will be lead through a warm up and affirming physical practice on your way to a reflective savasana. Following the physical practice, you will be invited to reflect in your journal and connect with your instructor and fellow practitioners.

During your practice, you are encouraged to listen to your body and do whatever movement feels good to you. Every pose, every movement, is a suggestion. You are not expected to look a certain way and being “flexible enough” is not a concern. The instructor is only a guide in your personal yoga practice. Your mat is your sacred space meant to be used as you see fit.

This series of classes do not build on one another but, rather, are offered as separate classes. Registration and pricing is for one class. The following classes being offered in this series are:

1/6 - HEART OPENERS

1/7 - HIP OPENERS

1/13 - HIP OPENERS

1/14 - CHAIR YOGA

1/27 - CHAIR YOGA

1/28 - HEART OPENERS

Yoga mats, blocks, blankets, cushions and chairs are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Equity Pricing

Empowered Spaces and Majestic Rhose Yoga & Wellness (Krystle “Kryssi” Crayton-Day) value community care. Given the systemic injustice in this world which affects each of us differently, this equity pricing scale acknowledges that our ability to pay for services, and access those services, varies. We offer a self-determined sliding scale based on the ways that your identity grants you access to privilege and to social capital, e.g. race, gender & sexual identity, socio-economic status, educational background, able-bodied-ness, etc.

Supporter Rate - "I can help support my community" - $15

Sustainer Rate - "I can pay my way" - $10

Community Rate - "I can use support from my community" - $5

*Full and Partial Scholarships are available

*Full & Partial scholarships: Empowered Spaces is committed to doing everything possible to make offerings accessible to everyone. To inquire about the Empowered Spaces Equity Scholarship please contact Kelly at kkcaul@yahoo.com

Meet Kryssi

I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and earned my yoga teacher certification through Breathe For Change in March of 2023. Also through Breathe For Change, I earned a Social Emotional Learning Facilitator certification. I focus on yoga that is trauma-informed, equitable, accessible, community-based, and healing. In my classes, I emphasize and implement the belief that yoga is for everybody in every body. Every asana is optional and I encourage you to listen to what your body needs in each moment. I am here to offer a brave space for your practice and to guide you during your journey on your mat.
