Embodied. Connected. Empowered.

Your Empowered Birth
Learn how to use the tools of yoga to empower your birth experience so that you feel at ease and in control from the first contraction to the first time you hold your little one in your arms. This workshop will teach you to use the power of the breath, the mind, and the body to prepare for birth. You’ll also learn how to use these strategies to carry you through your unique birth experience with a sense of agency and peace—no matter what kind of delivery you have. Finally, you’ll gain practical skills to help you practice and prepare for pushing so that you can reduce tearing and have a smooth delivery.

Yoga and the Pelvic Floor
Invigorate your yoga practice by tapping into the power of your pelvic floor. Sitting at the level of the root chakra (muladhara), the pelvic floor is a group of muscles and other tissues that is intimately connected to how we breathe and move. Discover the anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor, the role it plays in your yoga practice, and the breath-pelvic floor connection. This workshop is open to anyone with a pelvis and to all levels of yoga practice.

Love in Motion: Befriending Ourselves Through Yoga
Welcome to a yoga experience designed to invite you into a sweeter relationship with yourself. Throughout each class, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to your body’s cues, cultivate your mind-spirit-body connection, and give yourself permission to move (or not move!) in a way that brings you peace and pleasure. This yoga series will use gentle yoga, breath work, and meditation as methods to nurture and befriend your one and only self. We will also hold space for the many intersectional experiences that cause division within ourselves, such as systemic racism, sexism, and trauma. These experiences and their effects are not packages we can simply “leave at the door.” They are part of us, but through intentional healing processes, we can ensure they do not hold power over us. This yoga series offers yet another practice to support you in your unique healing journey.
